Quest Items are a type of Item in Wayfinder. Quest Items, also known as Key Items, are important collectable objects which are used to progress Quests or objectives. They are acquired through various sources, often within a related quest itself. Quest Items typically cannot be discarded or sold as they are crucial to your progression. I've taken to leav—" The remainder of this entry is too charred to make out. On a new page: "—after it gets dark, but Holdan has begun to notice my disappearances. I don't know what to tell him. The dreams return each night. The battle shook us all, but he wasn't in the village that day. He didn't see. I'd never heard a human wail like that day. Never seen a smile like the one plastered on the Eldren's faces when Vend and Kalden—" Near the end of the journal, one entry remains legible: "I told him today. He thinks I'm insane to become a watcher—we've all heard about the tragedies out in the Highlands. He says he is proud of me, and maybe he is, but I know he doesn't agree with my choice. He wants me close. Wants me safe. But love doesn't save people. If it did, Vend and Kalden wouldn't be in the ground. If I'm to protect Holdan, I need to be strong, and joining the Watchers might help me do that. And if nothing else, maybe being away from home for a while will keep the dreams at bay." |
