Enemies in Wayfinder are the various neutral and hostile creatures the player will encounter. Defeating Enemies grants Exp required to level up, and some may even drop special materials that are necessary for crafting Items or upgrading your Weapons and Armor. Once the game has been released, this page will be updated with all the information on strengths, weaknesses, enemy drops, and so on for Wayfinder Enemies.
World Bosses:
Night's Maw
Night's Maw is a World Boss spawned in Highlands. You can access Night's Maw's den by teleporting to the Codex Hall's Waystone and running up the stairs and then turn west down into the cave. Stay to the right and you will see Night Maw's summoning points inside the first cave inlet on the right.
Summoning:
To summon Night's Maw you will need to have 3 worm bait from buried treasure chests uncovered around the Highlands. These buried chests have a 100% chance to give you 1 worm bait. with 3 worm bait you can go into Night's Maw's den and place 1 worm bait on each of the three summoning points. These points will have a white highlight above them when they are able to be used.
Mechanics:
Night's Maw is a pretty straight forward boss, with a swipe attack and a frontal web attack. These attacks will poison you so be careful if low health. Night's Maw will burrow underground at 70% to move to the south side of the cave and again at 40% to the north side.
(Note: as of 9-2-2023 this burrow can get bugged and everyone needs to run out of the cave to where the "Codex Hall" name appears and then run back down over the location Night Maw got bugged. This will reset the aggro and Night Maw will reappear at the same health it burrowed with.)
