Imbuements | Wayfinder Wiki

Imbuements in Wayfinder are special consumables tied to Lost Zones. Imbuements can be applied to your Gloom Dagger before embarking on an Expedition or Hunt in order to apply Mutators to the Lost Zone. These mutators apply a plethora of effects that can significantly modify a Lost Zone, its enemies, hazards and events. These effects include fire bombs randomly spawning as you explore, forcing you to perform an evasive maneuver or causing enemies to drop toxic pools that cause damage-over-time upon death.

While these effects make Lost Zones more difficult, they also reward players with increased XP gains and rewards. Imbuements can be obtained from many different sources including from treasure chests, dropped by Enemies, crafting or acquired as rewards for completing activities. There are five types of Imbuements, with each one providing a base effect.

As you make more progress, you will be able to upgrade your Gloom Dagger to have more Imbuement Slots, allowing you to apply multiple Imbuements at once and combine different effects to take on more extreme challenges for even bigger rewards.

Flora	Resilience	TOXIC Home to toxic mushrooms that ooze pools of slime, break them to clear the path. Venemous foes will cause damage over time when they attack.	OVERGROWTH Enemies are overflowing with Flora Energy. Toxic pools now heal them. Upon death they will leave a Toxic Pool that grows as it damages players.	CHAOS SPORES Monsters are host to chaotic spores that grow wildly without a host. Contact with these spores causes temporary confusion	GOLD BLOOMS Flora have taken root in long-forgotten piles of gold. Brave the poison to claim the gold, but manage your greed to survive!	ERUPTION Toxic vents perioddically erupt from the ground, damaging nearby players.	CORPSEBLOOM Enemies are infected. Upon death a spore is generated that will seek players, and create a toxic mushroom.

His gifts will leave the floor too dangerous to play on for long.	SHADOWSPAWN All enemies are Gloomtouched, and their deaths will call forth something from the other side.
Greed	Speed	GREED Piles of gold may be found within but beware! The more gold you grab, the more damage you take from your foes.	GOLD BLOOMS Flora have taken root in long-forgotten piles of gold. Brave the poison to claim the gold, but manage your greed to survive!	GOLDEN BOMBS The Trickster's Golden Bombs afflict enemiees with Midas. Avid the explosion or get afflicted with Greed.	MIDAS Enemies are encased in a shell of gold. Shatter them and collect it! But beware the penalties of greed.	PHOENIX EGGS The power of the Phoenix imbues your foes. Destroy the eggs they drop on death, or the Heatwave will resurrect them!	GOLDEN CACHE Dark treasures can be found within. Only the power of the Gloom can release them.
Solar	Max HP	HEATWAVE Under sweltering heat, enemy attacks cause you to burn. Beware the heatwave that comes and goes, it will strengthen your foes.	ERUPTION Toxic vents perioddically erupt from the ground, damaging nearby players.	FIREBOMBS The chaotic Trickster hides within, and he's been playing with fire. Shadow	Attack	GLOOMTOUCHED All enemies have been empowered by the Gloom. At half health, they will Enrage and grow larger, dealing more damage. When enemies die, they will explode in a deadly burst.	CORPSEBLOOM Enemies are infected. Upon death a spore is generated that will seek players, and create a toxic mushroom.	SHADOWSPAWN All enemies are Gloomtouched, and their deaths will call forth something from the other side.	GOLDEN CACHE Dark treasures can be found within. Only the power of the Gloom can release them.	BLACK FLAME Gloomtouched enemies are infused with flame. Their deaths have a chacne to leave the ground permanently ablaze.	GLOOMSHROUD Gloom has infested this area. Activate and stand near the corrupted shrines to cleanse them, nut beware: enemies will try to stop you.
